No automated tool can make a document fully accessible or legally compliant — including ours.
So every CandidPDF report ends with a plain-language statement of exactly what still needs human judgment: complex tables, meaningful image descriptions, reading-order decisions. Most services leave that part out. We think it's the most useful thing we ship.

Scanned documents
Many older public documents are images of text. Assistive technology currently reads nothing from them. Our pipeline adds a searchable, taggable text layer and tells you exactly how far that gets you.
